Girl Up is a global leadership initiative dedicated to advancing equity for girls and women, equipping them with the tools and resources to become advocates and leaders for equality. Girl Up ISH is the first chapter of this UN initiative in Telangana and has successfully led several impactful projects, including providing menstrual health care packages and awareness sessions to girls in underprivileged schools

About New Girls School Moazzam Jahi Market 

MJM School is home to 350 girls, who currently face significant barriers to participating in sports due to a lack of equipment and resources. Sports opportunities are critical for fostering teamwork, leadership, self-confidence, and physical well-being. However, these students are missing out on the transformative power of athletics. By addressing this gap, we aim to create a lasting impact and provide these girls with opportunities to thrive both on and off the field.

The Initiative

Led by the dedicated members of the ISH Girl Up Club, Girl Up: Women in Sports is a new initiative aimed at empowering girls through:

1. Providing Sports Equipment: Ensuring students have access to the tools they need to explore and enjoy athletics.

2. Creating Athletic Opportunities: Organizing coaching sessions, athletic events, and workshops to foster skill development and promote inclusivity.

3. Building a Sustainable Future: Establishing a framework to expand these resources to other schools in the region, beginning with MJM School.

This campaign is about more than just equipment—it's about transforming lives, building confidence, and promoting gender equality through sports.
