How we’ll use this fund
Weekly Classes: A dedicated teacher visits the Cheers Foundation Orphanage every week to teach Kuchipudi dance to the children. Cost per Child: ₹3,000 will help a child discover their love for dance through this campaign and learn Kuchipudi for 6 months. Additional Workshops and Performance Opportunities: We connect young dancers with additional workshops and performance opportunities, empowering and enabling them to excel in Kuchipudi.

I am Preethika Pavirala,  the Founder of Vaitalika Foundation. As a Sangeetham and Kuchipudi dancer, I’ve been deeply immersed in South Asian culture from a young age. I am constantly  inspired by South Asian heritage, art and dance and I truly believe that the opportunity to learn these art forms are valuable and enriching. .

I've witnessed the joy traditional dance and art bring to children in orphanages and this led me to establish Vaitalika Foundation, with a vision to provide art classes for passionate children in orphanages and preserving and promoting our South Asian cultural art forms.

This campaign will support 12 months of our Kuchipudi dance program for 20 passionate children at the Cheers Foundation Orphanage, and we need your help. Your donations will fund teachers and resources, empowering young dreams. Join us in making a lasting impact through our core program!

Impact of Dance Classes

Teaching and hosting dance workshops for underprivileged students can profoundly benefit them by creating a sense of community, fostering essential social skills such as collaboration and communication, and reducing isolation. Engaging in the arts connects children to their cultural heritage, instilling pride and identity. Ultimately, it also provides them with an essential skill and learning experience that might spark a hobby or career in the arts.

Long-Term Vision

At Vaitalika Foundation, we envision a future where every child across India has the opportunity to find happiness and success through the exploration of diverse art forms. We believe that art is not just an expression but a transformative force that nurtures creativity, resilience, and cultural pride.

As we embark on this journey, we aspire to rely on our donors as patrons, empowering us to expand our reach and impact, ensuring that no child is deprived of the joy and enrichment that art brings. We have exciting plans to expand our impact - but we require your long-term support. Join us in shaping a brighter, more vibrant future for the children of India.
