My name is Ahaan Shizan, and I'm excited to work with Project Annapurna to address the immediate need for hydration and nutrition during Hyderabad's scorching summers. By distributing buttermilk to 500 people daily for the month of May this campaign seeks to alleviate the effects of the heatwave, providing relief and nourishment to those most vulnerable.

This is Hyderabad’s harshest summer in many years, and every year hundreds of vulnerable people in this city lose their lives and many more are affected because of sunstroke. I have personally been a volunteer with Project Annapurna since 2019, and I've seen firsthand how much of a difference initiatives like this can have.

Every month, the Project Annapurna community consistently supports people in slums, orphanages & oldage homes in need of Food & Groceries, one smile at a time!  

Project Annapurna is based in Hyderabad, Telangana and has been distributing food across the state for over 5 years. At Project Annapurna, helping the under-privilaged people through through Food Drives and fighting hunger is at the core of our mission. In this campaign, we're excited to partner with the Robin Hood Army, a nationwide volunteer organization dedicated to serving the underserved. Together, we'll ensure that every day, over 500 people receive the nourishment and comfort of buttermilk during this scorching summer. Through this campaign, we're not just distributing buttermilk; we're spreading kindness and making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

By providing nutritious foods and essential resources, we aim to not only meet immediate needs but also to foster a sense of community and solidarity. Our vision extends beyond mere sustenance; it encompasses building a more compassionate and supportive society where every individual's well-being is prioritized. Through initiatives like the Buttermilk Drive, we strive to make a true difference in the lives of those we serve.
