How we’ll use this fund
Provide textbooks for 600+ students (Grades 1–10) in English and Mathematics Expand digital access to curriculum so schools can use structured learning guides independently Reach up to 2,000 students through scalable, volunteer-supported and digital delivery Strengthen volunteer training and resources to ensure consistent, high-quality learning support

My name is Dhruv Krishnan.

During COVID, I started teaching students from government schools online and realised the deep joy and sense of purpose it gave me. Since then, I have taught across multiple schools and supported students beyond the classroom by helping them participate in competitions like MUNs, preparing for exams, and being an emotional anchor.

I wanted more students to experience the same joy and confidence that learning gave me. That is how India Agency Project was born.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower students from Grades 1 to 10 through structured learning.

We do this by developing comprehensive curricula and offering supplementary lessons in:

  • English

  • Mathematics

  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)

These lessons are designed to inspire curiosity, confidence, and imagination.

Through this campaign, we aim to:

  • Purchase textbooks students can use consistently

  • Strengthen our digital presence so curriculum and resources can reach more volunteers and schools

How We Work

India Agency Project is entirely volunteer-driven and guided by a strong sense of passion.

Because we work long-term with students, we are able to go beyond short-term interventions and create meaningful, lasting change.

Beyond students, we also build a network of committed volunteers. Volunteers are provided with structured curricula and shared resources so they can create consistent impact across schools and communities.

The Problem

Across many government and aided private schools in India, students from lower-income backgrounds are deeply motivated to learn but often lack:

  • Structured curricula

  • Quality textbooks

  • Consistent academic support

Teachers do their best with limited resources. Volunteers step in to help, but without shared tools or standardized materials, impact becomes uneven and difficult to scale.

This gap does not reflect a lack of ability or curiosity.
It reflects a lack of access.

The Solution: India Agency Project

India Agency Project works directly with schools and volunteers to deliver structured, age-appropriate learning support for students in Grades 1 to 10.

Our focus areas include:

  • English

  • Mathematics

  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)

We believe that when students are given the right tools, they develop confidence, curiosity, and agency.

Rather than one-off workshops, we work with the same students and schools over time to support real improvements in learning outcomes.

Why This Campaign Matters

This campaign will fund two critical needs.

1. Physical learning materials

Funds will be used to purchase English and Mathematics textbooks that students can use:

  • In classrooms

  • After school

  • At home

2. Digital curriculum access

We are building a central digital platform to host our curriculum and resources. This will allow:

  • Schools to use structured guides even without on-site volunteers

  • Volunteers across cities to teach using the same materials

  • Curriculum to scale beyond a single classroom or school

With this support, we can expand from 600 students to over 2,000 students while maintaining quality and consistency.

Proven Impact

India Agency Project has already demonstrated meaningful results.

  • 600 students have received structured Mathematics and English curricula

  • 200 students participated in self-esteem surveys, with insights shared directly with schools

We have worked long-term with government and low-income schools including:

  • Ramagondanahalli Government School

  • Sai Gurukul School

  • Shishu Mandir

  • Prison Ministry of India

  • Gubachi Agrahara School

We also collaborate with higher-income schools to train and deploy student volunteers, including:

  • Neev Academy

  • Deens Academy

  • Greenwood High

  • Ekya Schools

Additional impact includes:

  • Training support for NIOS and Karnataka State Board students

  • Active partnerships with education NGOs such as Prabodhan
